Ms. Wilcomes concentrates her practice on complex commercial litigation involving life, health, disability and annuity insurance litigation and regulation, benefit entitlements, sales practices, suitability, securities fraud, broker-dealer matters, and ERISA matters. She has represented leaders in the financial services industry, including some of the country's largest life and health insurance companies, in both court and arbitration proceedings.
Ms. Wilcomes also has extensive class action experience, representing financial services companies in putative and certified class actions involving the alleged improper marketing or sale of life insurances, annuities, convalescent care insurance, and breach of fiduciary duty claims under ERISA.
Ms. Wilcomes also has experience assisting insurers in examining nationwide statutory and regulatory issues pertaining to life, health, and annuities.
Ms. Wilcomes regularly represents clients in state and federal courts in New Jersey, New York, and other jurisdictions throughout the United States. She also has experience in the arbitration of securities matters before the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority.
