Ms. Mayer concentrates her practice in two areas of litigation - commercial debtor/creditor litigation and product liability defense litigation. She represents creditors, committees, liquidating trustees, lenders and debtors in chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings as well as prosecutes and defends clients in adversary matters in the Bankruptcy Courts. Ms. Mayer has appeared for clients in some of the largest bankruptcy cases including Lehman Bros., Tribune Company and Enron. Ms. Mayer has also represented large corporations with respect to product liability litigation in state court. Ms. Mayer frequently acted as lead defense counsel in benzene cases for the defense group and was part of a team of lawyers that tried one of the first benzene cases in Delaware through verdict. Ms. Mayer is part of the firm's Professional Personnel Committee and Diversity Committee.
