NEW YORK, NY (June 28, 2012)—Law firm McCarter & English, LLP is pleased to announce that attorney Joseph F. Fields has joined the firm as Special Counsel in the Insurance Coverage Practice in New York. He will focus principally on commercial litigation and has 25 years of experience in advising financial, energy, telecommunications, internet, real estate, and other commercial clients in complex business matters in federal and state courts.
Fields has represented policyholders in all manner of insurance coverage matters including directors’ and officers’, errors and omissions, comprehensive general liability, crime loss and fidelity bonds, business interruption, transit insurance, advertising injury and trade libel coverage. In addition, Fields has represented owners, developers and professionals in construction contracting and litigation. He is also a seasoned appellate practitioner.
