Peer Review Survey Recognizes Top Listed Attorneys in New Jersey

Susan A. Feeney: Newark, NJ – Top 50 Women New Jersey Super Lawyers 2012
Ms. Feeney's practice focuses on state taxation and local property taxation for all types of industries. She is President of the New Jersey State Bar Association. Ms. Feeney is also a Life Fellow of the American Bar Foundation and State Co-Chair. Her practice includes redevelopment law and condemnation. She has extensive experience in litigating property tax appeal cases and also advises taxpayers and municipalities on farmland assessment qualification and roll-back taxes. Ms. Feeney has considerable experience with property tax exemption issues involving religious, education and hospital not-for-profit entities. She is also skilled in the valuation of telecommunication properties, including switching stations and cellular towers and solar projects. Ms. Feeney assists clients in the state tax area by developing and implementing multi-state tax planning; obtaining favorable state tax letter rulings and advisory opinions; handling state tax audits and refund claims; negotiating settlements of state tax appeals; and litigating state tax appeals.
David R. Kott: Newark, NJ – Top 100 New Jersey Super Lawyers 2012
Mr. Kott is a fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and an Associate of the American Board of Trial Advocates. He limits his practice to litigation, and has extensive jury trial experience in the area of products liability and related areas, including consumer fraud and commercial cases involving products. Mr. Kott has tried over fifty jury trials to verdict. He has also been lead counsel in a number of class actions.

Ms. Rothschild practices in the areas of complex litigation, including insurance coverage, class actions, defense of employers, products liability and toxic torts, commercial contracts and business torts. She has litigated cases in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Georgia, Tennessee, Texas, Connecticut, Florida, Virginia and the Virgin Islands. She has nearly 50 reported opinions, including five cases involving significant novel products liability issues in the New Jersey Supreme Court.
