Mr. Annos’ practice focuses primarily in the areas of products liability, toxic tort and commercial litigation. His experience extends to litigation matters involving pharmaceuticals, asbestos, benzene, medical devices, contracts, real estate, landlord-tenant and personal injury. Mr. Annos has appeared and successfully litigated disputes in several jurisdictions and courts, including all state and federal courts in Delaware, as well as state and federal courts in the District of Columbia, Florida and Pennsylvania. In addition to his litigation practice at McCarter & English, Mr. Annos currently serves as a Legislative Attorney for the Delaware House of Representatives.

Mr. Annos devotes significant time to several volunteer, professional and pro bono activities. He is an Associate Member of the Board of Bar Examiners of the Supreme Court of Delaware and the Treasurer and an Executive Committee Member of The Ministry of Caring Guild. Mr. Annos previously served as a volunteer Special Deputy Attorney General for the Delaware Department of Justice, which involved engaging in plea negotiations with defendants charged with various misdemeanor offenses and prosecuting those offenses by conducting bench trials before the Delaware Court of Common Pleas. Mr. Annos also maintains an active pro bono caseload representing clients in various civil, criminal and veteran proceedings.

Prior to joining McCarter & English, Mr. Annos served as a judicial law clerk in the Delaware Superior Court for the Honorable Joseph R. Slights, III and the Honorable Peggy L. Ableman. While in law school, Mr. Annos served as a judicial extern in the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware for the Honorable Kent A. Jordan (now of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit). Prior to law school, Mr. Annos was a financial analyst for a technology consulting and support company.
