Mr. Borkowski is an associate in the firm's Environment & Energy Practice Group. His practice is primarily focused on representing clients in the area of Environmental Law. He is experienced in counseling on matters regarding environmental and product safety regulatory compliance, environmental and insurance litigation, and transactional issues.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Borkowski was an environmental engineer for a number of years, responsible for supporting facility-wide environmental regulatory compliance (CAA, CWA, RCRA, EPCRA, TSCA, state and local regulations) for industrial clients, performing compliance audits, and assisting clients with regulatory permit applications.
An accomplished writer on environmental law, Mr. Borkowski co-authored a Department of Defense guidebook focused on integrating environmental concerns into the design, manufacture and deployment of weapons systems. His other publications on the topic include articles in The Metropolitan Corporate Counsel and The New Jersey Law Journal concerning Natural Resource Damages.
