Mr. Poland's practice is concentrated on banking and corporation and securities law. He has extensive experience in the representation of commercial bank and thrift institutional lenders in acquisition and other financings as well as general representation of public and privately held companies; mergers and acquisitions of financial institutions and other companies; and public and private offerings of securities.
Mr. Poland is the author of the banking law section of "The State Supreme Court Year in Review," published annually in the New Jersey Law Journal. He has been a frequent lecturer on corporate and banking law matters to bar and banking groups.
Mr. Poland was recognized as a New Jersey Super Lawyer for 2006-2009 and 2012-2013. He is an Adjunct Professor of Law (Commercial Law), Rutgers University Law School, Newark, NJ.
