PRACTICES Construction, Redevelopment, Real Estate, Environmental Ms. Biser's practice focuses on construction law and litigation. She has extensive experience representing owners, developers, architects, engineers, and national and international contractors in all stages of the construction process, including contract drafting, negotiating, and contract administration. She has been lead counsel in drafting construction management, design professional and trade contractor agreements for a national telecommunications company for its national projects, as well as for hotel management companies, power plants, solar power installations, healthcare facilities, banks, schools, and a major Internet conglomerate constructing its futuristic headquarters in Manhattan. She was lead counsel in drafting construction management and design professional agreements for the partial build-out of one of the largest mixed-use office buildings built in New York City. Ms. Biser has also represented domestic and foreign clients in construction and other types of litigation. She lectures frequently on construction issues involving litigation and transactional matters, and teaches a seminar annually on New Jersey Lien Law.   Ms. Biser is co-author of the leading treatise on New York construction law - New York Construction Law Manual, August 2007. She also authors the New York chapter in Fifty State Construction Lien and Bond Law (2nd Edition) and the New York chapter in State-by-State Guide to Architect, Engineer and Contractor Licensing. Ms. Biser is recognized among Chambers USA "Leaders in their Field" for 2010 and by Practical Law Company, Construction and Projects, 2010/11.
