Jeffrey M. Stoler is a partner in the Corporate Group and his practice focuses on securities and venture capital work. Mr. Stoler‘s client base consists primarily of technology and high growth companies, although he also serves as lead outside counsel to a variety of established and publicly-held companies. Mr. Stoler primarily handles financings (including public offerings, private placements, venture capital deals), mergers/acquisitions, contracts/licenses, management/leveraged buy-outs, joint ventures/strategic alliances, franchising and intellectual property matters.
In connection with his specializations, Mr. Stoler has been quoted in The Wall Street Journal, CFO Magazine, the Boston Globe and elsewhere.
Mr. Stoler is a frequent public speaker on legal matters, and has been selected as a panelist at the KPMG Audit Committee Institute in Short Hills this year. He has lectured at the International Securities Conference in Salzburg, Austria on the topic of U.S. initial public offerings by European companies. He has co-authored various business law publications including the Technology Council's "Joint Ventures: Strategic Partnerships for Rapid Growth Companies" and the American Bar Association's "Legal and Tax Guide for Privately-Held Businesses.
Mr. Stoler currently serves on the Awards Committee on the Massachusetts Technology Leadership Council as well as various Boards of Directors, including the boards of Meritas, Greater Boston Legal Services Corporation, the Children's Museum, etc.
