3/4/2008
China Executive Roundtable - Hartford Office

In this roundtable meeting we will seek to address the following and other issues that may concern you:

• What are the potential issues if goods imported from China turn out to be defective?
• How can you effectively identify the best partners for your China business endeavors?
• How are all the latest changes and developments affecting sourcing from, selling or investing into China?

Jeffrey Thomen of McCarter & English, LLP will give a presentation entitled “Importing Defective Products: Who Is Liable, Mitigating Risk Through Due Diligence & Managing A Potential Recall -- What Your Business Should Know”. Shawn He of MeetChinaBiz will comment on the latest China business trends and challenges.

In addition, all roundtable participants will be gathering in an interactive, hands-on forum to discuss opportunities, share insights, and offer solutions to each other on all things related to China.

What is a MeetChinaBiz Executive Roundtable?

Held in different cities, this is a monthly gathering (the equivalent of “group counseling”) for business decision-makers to discuss all issues related to doing business with or in China.

These meetings will not only help you continue to network and expand your China business contacts, but also allow you to compare notes, share tips and learn from each other's lessons and experience, thereby enabling everyone to be better informed, prepared and "equipped" in their China pursuits.
