ACEC MA's Risk Management Forum

Please Join ACEC MA's Risk Management Forum at its Next Roundtable Government Projects & Compliance Policies

In these difficult economic times, many engineering firms are seeking opportunities on municipal, state and federal government projects.  Is your firm ready for such an undertaking? Please join us on May 7, 2009 when Dan Kelly and Carolina Avellaneda with the law firm of McCarter English, LLP will cover important aspects of government contracting, including procurement integrity, bidding and competition, key FAR clauses, pricing disclosures, and various certification requirements.

In addition, many government agencies require government contractors to have a corporate compliance policy in place.  Does your firm currently have such a policy?  Seminar attendees will also learn about the importance of having a compliance policy and what it should contain.

When: May 7, 2009, 8:00-10:00 am.  Registration and continental breakfast begins at 7:30 am.

Where: Simpson Gumpertz & Heger Inc., 41 Seyon Street, Building 1, Suite 500, Waltham

This event is free to all ACEC members, but you must pre-register.
