SEMINAR: Nanotechnology Breakfast Seminar: Is Smaller Better?

McCarter & English presents: Nanotechnology: Is Smaller Better?

Buckyballs....Carbon Nanotubes...Quantum Dots....

Long the stuff of science fiction, nanotechnology has become a buzzword over the last several years.  Companies need to be aware of the potential risks associated with the use of this technology and need to take appropriate steps to analyze and address those risks.  Also, companies that are developing new materials or methods for using nanotechnology need to protect their intellectual property.

Please join McCarter & English for an interactive session on the uses of nanotechnology. Our session will address recent studies on worker exposure, and other timely issues related to this important, and developing, area of technology.

Hear from McCarter & English's Nano Team on:

A basic understanding of what the science actually says about the potential for injuries and product liability claims

How companies can protect their nanotechnology intellectual property

Developments in environmental law regulating nanomaterials

The use of nanomaterials and worker safety

What companies can do to evaluate and/or spread the potential risk from nanotechnology
