Jae Shrader’s practice in intellectual property law focuses on national and international patent prosecution with a concentration in pharmaceuticals and biotechnology. Jae has extensive experience in all phases of patent prosecution both in the U.S. and internationally and has represented clients in a range of technological fields including pharmaceuticals, medical devices, industrial systems, and consumer goods.

Jae is currently enrolled part-time in a Masters of Biotechnology from Johns Hopkins University and expects to graduate in 2020. Prior to joining the firm, she began her legal career at a boutique intellectual property law firm where she focused on patent preparation, prosecution, opinions, and transactions. While in law school, Jae was a Managing Editor of the Tulane Journal of Technology and Intellectual Property. She additionally acted as an IP strategy consultant for start-up companies at the New Orleans BioInnovations Center, a biotechnology incubator, and for Tulane University. She advised inventors and start-up companies in the field of biotechnology including diagnostics, tissue engineering, medical devices, stem cell products, vaccines and blood markers.
