Mr. Kellar focuses his practice in the areas of commercial litigation, creditor’s rights, and bankruptcy. He routinely represents lenders, special servicers, and banking institutions, particularly in regards to defaulted commercial loans, commercial foreclosure actions, and related lawsuits. Mr. Kellar’s bankruptcy practice centers on representing both trustees and creditors in adversarial proceedings and preference actions.

In addition, Mr. Kellar regularly defends banks in a wide range of areas. He has represented banks in lawsuits arising from the handling of counterfeit and forged documents as well actions concerning credit reporting disputes.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Kellar spent several years as a commercial litigator handling shareholder disputes in closely-held corporations and LLC’s, construction lien law disputes, and insurance coverage matters.

Before beginning to practice, Mr. Kellar gained experience working in both the federal and state judiciaries. During his final semester of law school, he worked as a judicial intern for the Honorable Dennis M. Cavanaugh in the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. After graduation, Mr. Kellar served as law clerk to the Honorable Ross R. Anzaldi (ret.), presiding civil judge, Superior Court of New Jersey, Union County.

While in law school, Mr. Kellar was a member of the Journal of Sports & Entertainment Law and a member of the Interscholastic Moot Court Board where he competed in several national moot court competitions. Mr. Kellar continues to serve as a coach with the moot court program.
