Jason J. Moreira is an associate in the Insurance Coverage practice group.

Mr. Moreira focuses his practice on insurance coverage, environmental and commercial litigation. He represents policyholders seeking coverage for asbestos, environmental, securities, property damage, and products liability claims. Mr. Moreira has experience representing product manufacturers, hospitals, pharmaceutical companies, information technology companies, and property owners, among others. He has defended insurance brokers in professional malpractice actions and counseled clients in complex commercial matters.

Mr. Moreira also has experience in complex environmental litigation. In the environmental context, he has prepared for substantial depositions, prepared and responded to written discovery, and handled large-scale discovery projects. He is experienced with electronic discovery platforms, adept at generating document review protocols, and regularly develops creative solutions to improve the efficiency of the discovery process.

Mr. Moreira graduated from Rutgers School of Law in 2015, where he was Business Editor for the Rutgers Law Review. His Note, Regionalism, Federalism, and the Paradox of Local Democracy, was published the same year.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Moreira was a law clerk for the Honorable Mitchel E. Ostrer, J.A.D., of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Appellate Division.
