Joseph Norcia is New Jersey State Certified Tax Assessor whose practice focuses on litigation concerning local property taxation.

Mr. Norcia represents property owners with regard to real estate assessment appeals, applications for long and short term tax abatements, initial and further statements claiming local property tax exemption, applications for qualified farmland exemption, and defense against municipal appeals to increase property assessments. Mr. Norcia also has experience in both large commercial and residential real estate transactions.

Mr. Norcia represents a variety of property owners including corporate office centers, industrial warehouses, golf courses, commercial retail properties, multi-family complexes, adult day cares, skilled nursing and assisted living facilities, parking decks, hotels, catering halls, movie theatres, condominium associations and multi-million dollar residential homes.

Mr. Norcia graduated from the Rutgers School of Law – Newark in 2012, where he served as Business Editor for the Women’ Rights Law Reporter.
