Kritika Bharadwaj focuses her practice in areas of domestic and cross-border intellectual property and transactions in a variety of industries including technology and life sciences.

Ms. Bharadwaj counsels clients on their domestic and global branding, licensing and intellectual property protection strategies. She handles trademark selection, prosecution and enforcement matters domestically and internationally, as well as trademarks, copyrights and patents dispute resolution in the United States.

Her expertise lies in transactional matters in relation to intellectual property and technology transactions, outsourcing and strategic alliances for development, manufacture, license, sale, resale of products and services, including software technology. She works closely with business clients to understand and counsel on the strategy for protection and commercialization of their technology and intellectual property assets.

Ms. Bharadwaj also counsels a variety of emerging companies in relation to their formation and structuring, early stage financing, acquisitions, joint ventures and collaborations. She has experience representing technology-driven growth companies as well as investors in relation to their venture capital financing and commercial transactions. She has also counseled non-profit organizations in relation to the legal aspects of their governance, fund-raising and advertising campaigns.

Having previously worked at a nationally reputed law firm in India, and subsequently at a law firm in the United States that centered around the South Asian business community, Ms. Bharadwaj maintains strong ties to the South Asian legal and business communities. She has held leadership positions at local chapters of the South Asian Bar Association and the International Section of the American Bar Association, and is involved with The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE).
