Mr. Moskowitz, a former business executive, is now a business litigator concentrating in commercial litigation, with particular emphasis on debtor/creditor, lender liability, contract, shareholder disputes and asset recovery. He complements his legal talents with a complex business background.

Prior to joining McCarter & English, LLP, Mr. Moskowitz was Staff Vice President and a Director of Mobil Centers, Inc., for Mobil Oil Company, and Senior Vice President, Chief Operating Officer at Samuel Schlesinger Inc., responsible for all operations of a large, independently owned department store. Mr. Moskowitz also served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for Sanrene Corporation, an owner and manager of commercial real estate.

He has been a featured speaker for the National Business Institute and lectures on lender liability, foreclosure and repossession in New Jersey and insolvency and workouts. He has also lectured on a wide variety of other topics related to commercial litigation, including tax issues in reorganization, appellate practice, and banking and finance issues in the litigation and regulatory context. He has published articles on Constitutional Rights and Access to Private Property Independent of Federal Rights, and on Indemnification of Corporate Officers, Agents and Directors.

Mr. Moskowitz is involved in a variety of professional and public service organizations. He previously served as the President of the Chambers of Commerce for North Hudson and West New York, New Jersey.
