Thomas DaCosta Lobo represents a broad range of clients in real-estate-based finance transactions; office, warehouse, retail, and industrial leasing and ground leasing; acquisitions and dispositions of commercial and industrial properties; and counseling on the real estate aspects of public finance.

Tom has developed deep knowledge and experience concerning the siting of commercial solar energy installations. He has handled solar projects totaling more than 150MW of ground, rooftop, and carport facilities located at office buildings, warehouses, manufacturing plants, public facilities, landfills, and brownfields.

Development of solar energy facilities on behalf of private enterprises and a public utility, including a number of the largest such facilities in New Jersey.
Sale and lease-back of 550,000 sq. ft. electronics manufacturing facility in New Jersey.
Purchase ($72,000,000) and financing of retail shopping center in New Jersey.
Leasing of 200,000 sq. ft. in Fairfax, VA, to international technology companies.
Leasing of 70,000 sq. ft. in midtown Manhattan to a nationally-recognized education provider.
Syndicated financing of retail power centers in Illinois ($125,000,000) and Tennessee ($87,500,000) and office properties in California ($73,000,000 and $65,000,000) and Texas ($45,000,000).
