William Brown is an associate in McCarter’s Bankruptcy & Restructuring Group, focusing his practice on creditor rights, bankruptcy and commercial litigation. Mr. Brown assists in the representation of secured creditors in contractual actions and various bankruptcy court proceedings, including actions objecting to discharge, actions objecting to the discharge ability of a particular debt, motions to lift the automatic stay, and defense of avoidance actions.
Mr. Brown has experience representing lenders and banking institutions with respect to creditor’s rights and in successfully litigating and resolving commercial contractual disputes and actions to enforce promissory notes and guaranties.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Brown clerked for Honorable Anne McDonnell, P.J. NJ Superior Court Chancery Division and also proudly served in the United States Navy.
