Bob Burger speaks on “Digital Engineering and Intellectual Property,” during NCMA Boston’s 60th Annual March Workshop.
This session provides an overview of intellectual property (IP) with emphasis on the treatment of IP in a government contracting environment. Presenters discuss the United States Air Force Key IP policy initiatives, the use of Special Requirements/H clauses in software acquisitions, data rights assertions and how the government and industry negotiate these requirements, commercial items, and alternatives to restricted rights. Furthermore, to really home in on this topic, presenters engage in a mock requirement exercise.
