McCarter & English, LLP has added Michael J.W. Rennock to the firm’s Corporate Practice Group in New York as a partner. Rennock focuses on mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and divestitures, as well as securities offerings, corporate governance, private equity, and venture capital matters.

Rennock has built a national practice that also includes handling capital markets and financing transactions, including IPOs and secondary offerings, high-yield and convertible debt financings, PIPES, Rule 144A and Reg S offerings, and traditional private placements. His sophisticated finance experience includes recapitalizations, secured and unsecured borrowings, and project financings. He represents clients in technology, telecommunications, healthcare, electronic data transmission, blockchain and cryptocurrency, defense, retail, finance, energy, and transportation industry matters.
Rennock received his law degree, with honors, from Duke University School of Law and his undergraduate degree, with honors, from Harvard University.
Before joining McCarter, Rennock was a partner at Freeborn & Peters LLP.
