William Brown organized a fundraiser to benefit GI Go Fund, a nonprofit organization that assists New York and New Jersey veterans. The GI Go Fund has pledged all funds raised from this event to ending veteran homelessness in New York City. The Navy SEAL Hudson River Swim and Run is the first-ever sanctioned swim across the Hudson River. As part of the event, William and other SEALs will swim from Liberty State Park in Jersey City to Battery Park in Manhattan, making stops at the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island to do pushups and pullups. From Battery Park, the SEALs will run to One World Trade Center, ending the event at the America’s Response Monument.
