McCarter and English is actively recruiting for our Philadelphia office an entrepreneurial attorney with at least 3-5 years of experience in government contracts and federal procurement to join our busy, Chambers-ranked Government Contracts and Global Trade team as an associate. Ideal candidates would have law firm experience, be driven to expanding the team’s preeminent reputation, eager to develop new business and clients, and committed to a rise to partnership, all while possessing demonstrable experience with bid protests, claim counseling, FAR and DFARS compliance, multiple award schedule contracts, SBIR and STTR grants and contracts, government contract data rights, cybersecurity, and/or teaming and subcontracting. Pennsylvania Bar admission and strong academic background required. Experience in or with universities or with the aerospace/defense, medical device, life sciences, infrastructure, manufacturing, or pharmaceutical industries would be helpful.
