The Trademark Docketing Paralegal provides attorneys, paralegals and the Trademark Practice Group with docketing support, including maintaining a historical record of filings, computing and calendaring due dates in CPI and in other firm systems, client onboarding and transfers, and daily docketing / follow-up of all Trademark actions and deadlines. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, communicative, a quick and willing learner and able to effectively function within a fast-moving team setting. The candidate should be comfortable communicating with attorneys, paralegals and trademark docketing staff on a daily basis and taking initiative to follow through to ensure work requests are completed efficiently and accurately. Salary range for this position is $60,000 – $85,000, commensurate with experience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Daily entry and maintenance of US and international trademark cases into the CPI docketing system, including USPTO and international trademark prosecution deadlines and TTAB schedules of dates; Update of case statuses; Assist with client onboarding; Review and audit of client data.
- Review and process email from clients and international associates; docketing trademark prosecution and interference due dates for all.
- Alert Firm attorneys and staff of receipt of notices, and impending deadlines.
- Maintain the accuracy and integrity of all data entry including the data entry of new US and foreign, trademark prosecution, interference, and litigation case data; Maintain a high level of quality by reviewing all data entry on a daily basis.
- Assist attorneys and staff by generating Docket Reports as necessary.
- Close out due dates in the docketing system on a daily basis per instruction from Attorneys/Staff.
- Assist with special projects and requests, as necessary.
- No supervisory responsibilities.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2 plus years US and foreign trademark docketing experience required; CPI and computerized docketing experience required.
- Thorough knowledge of U.S. and international Trademark filing, prosecution and registration procedures, including TTAB actions.
- MS Office experience required.
- Type 50-75 WPM.
- Must be able to exercise independence and good judgment; have excellent attention to detail; and maintain discretion with confidential and sensitive information.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Must maintain a high quality work product, have the ability to schedule work to meet department deadlines and be able to perform job responsibilities under pressure efficiently, productively and in a professional manner.
- Must have the ability to multi task effectively.
- High school graduate required; undergraduate degree preferred.
