Cyber threats present specific risks to utilities and other companies in the electricity sector – and despite the critical disruptions many of them can cause, cyber risks are not covered by most commercial general liability policies or other risk covers.

There is no one-size-fits-all cyber insurance policy. But there are measures you can take to determine the types of risks you face, ascertain your level of coverage, and secure the right insurance to cover your vulnerabilities.

McKesson Corporation, currently ranked 15th on the FORTUNE 500, is a healthcare services and information technology company providing health information technology, medical supplies, and care management tools. The company had sales of $122 billion in 2013. Mr. Hammergren discusses the need to change the trajectory of spending in this country, otherwise the entire revenue of the country will be spent on health care by 2050.

The second largest gaming company in the world by revenue in 2009, Mr. Murren discusses his company's evolution since the effects of the recession, and hopes of building a resort casino in Springfield, Mass. He estimates the casino in Springfield would create 3,000 permanent jobs.

This week’s guest speaker was Steve Holliday, the current CEO of National Grid. Mr. Holliday provided an interesting overview of the history of the company and the challenges it faces in the 21st century in terms of aging infrastructure, energy supplies and dealing with extreme weather events. The aspirational goal of lowering overall energy needs and the need to embrace alternative energy resources rounded out a vibrant (and humorous) presentation.

This week's guest speaker is Daniel F. Akerson, Chairman & CEO of General Motors Company, Inc. GM is among the world's largest automakers. Mr. Akerson recognizes that although GM is well on its way to recovery, it still has a long way to go. He discusses GM's investment in breakthrough innovations and projects further inclusion of alternative energy sources and fuel saving technologies.  He states that the U.S. needs a comprehensive energy policy, echoing Royal Dutch Shell Chairman Peter Voser’s remarks at the March presentation.
