He has performed work before cities, counties, school boards, the State of Florida and the federal government. His land use experience includes representing the developer of the tallest building ever approved in the City of Miami, gaining the approval of numerous high density, mixed-use projects, and advising a prominent luxury resort property owner in connection with the approval of four helipads. He has represented sports and entertainment clients with regard to special events located in South Florida and in the expansion or development of local sports complexes. In procurement, he has assisted service and goods providers, contractors and concessionaires at the local level.
South Florida provides unique challenges, and Carlos leverages his experience to help clients achieve their goals and grow their business in the state. He regularly counsels clients seeking to enter the Miami market, including those entering the city’s booming technology and emerging markets sector, drawing on his knowledge of and relationships in the area to identify potential business incentives and create opportunities for strategic alliances with established firms.
