Elizabeth Monahan has experience in both litigation and transactional matters. She has assisted in the defense of traditional product liability suits, advised clients on FDA regulatory issues during the pre–approval and post-market phases, and handled pro bono matters. Her clients have included leading consumer products makers, pharmaceutical and medical device companies, health care providers, and industrial manufacturers.
Before joining the firm, Elizabeth served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Harry Carroll of the New Jersey Superior Court, Appellate Division. As a law clerk, she revised and edited judicial opinions, prepared memoranda on a wide variety of issues, and processed emergent applications. While in law school, Elizabeth served as a Notes Editor of the George Mason Law Review. She also served as President of the Women’s Law Association while at George Mason and participated in the Virginia Bar Association Pro Bono Society.
