He also provides guidance on the complex issues that arise from recent changes in securities law and other regulations.
Joe is a member of several of the firm’s working groups, including those relating to blockchain, smart contracts, digital currencies, and proptech. Because rapid innovation often outpaces laws and regulations, Joe stays abreast of these key emerging technologies and anticipates how they will affect his clients.
Joe is a leading voice in the venture capital ecosystem who guides entrepreneurs and investors on disruptive technologies and business strategies. He frequently presents on emerging topics and conducts “lunch and learn” sessions. Joe has also served as an adjunct professor on the subject of high-growth corporate transactions at Cornell Law School. In his free time, Joe enjoys spending time with his family and playing golf and guitar.
