Karen Baldwin is an associate in the Labor & Employment practice group. Prior to joining the firm, she was counsel for ToysRUs where she was responsible for employee relations issues for 54,000 national employees, including issues arising under the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act, workers’ compensation, and the Fair Labor Standards Act.
Karen’s experience also includes counseling and defending management in various labor and employment law matters, which include discrimination, harassment, wrongful discharge, family and medical leave, breach of contract, restrictive covenants, confidentiality, wage and hour, and reductions in force.
