Thomas Goodwin practices in the areas of commercial litigation, franchise and distribution, unfair competition, restrictive covenants and product liability. He counsels manufacturers, franchisors, franchisees, and foreign and domestic distributors with respect to transactions arising from changes in distribution chains and wholesaling methods.
Thomas has successfully represented clients involved in diverse matters including the recovery of costs of remediating environmental contamination on property, breaches of contract and express and implied warranties, recovery of money embezzled by a former employee, and prosecution of an action in Delaware Chancery Court on behalf of principal shareholders against an incumbent board of directors of a publicly-traded company which resulted in reconstruction of the board.
