Trevor Larrubia represents clients in a broad range of complex commercial, real estate, business, and bankruptcy-related litigation. He represents lenders, financial institutions, secured and unsecured creditors, businesses, and individuals in state and federal court proceedings. Trevor handles all aspects of litigation, from inception through trial, as well as appeals. He also counsels clients on regulatory and compliance matters with respect to newly enacted legislation.
Prior to joining McCarter, Trevor clerked at the Connecticut Appellate Court for the Honorable Lubbie Harper, Jr., the Honorable Stuart D. Bear, and the Honorable Thomas A. Bishop. He also interned for the Honorable Vanessa L. Bryant in the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut. Trevor graduated from the University of Connecticut School of Law, where he served on the editorial board of the Connecticut Law Review and was elected to the Connecticut Moot Court Board.
Trevor is active in the firm’s pro bono practice and works with Connecticut Legal Services to help low-income individuals apply for a pardon for their criminal convictions in an effort to establish a fresh start on housing and employment opportunities. Additionally, Trevor is dedicated to assisting members of the community and participates in the Stamford Lawyers in Library Program through which he provides free legal services on a wide range of issues to those who cannot afford it. Trevor also serves as a chair of the Fairfield County Bar Association Civil Litigation Committee.
