Trevor Larrubia represents clients in a broad range of complex commercial, real estate, and bankruptcy-related litigation, including commercial and residential mortgage foreclosures. Clients include lenders, loan servicers, and other financial services companies.
Trevor’s experience includes practicing civil and business litigation and clerking at the Connecticut Appellate Court for the Honorable Lubbie Harper, Jr., the Honorable Stuart D. Bear, and the Honorable Thomas A. Bishop. He also interned for the Honorable Vanessa L. Bryant in the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut.
He earned his JD from the University of Connecticut School of Law, where he served on the editorial board of the Connecticut Law Review. While in law school, he was elected to the Connecticut Moot Court Board and was selected as a finalist in the Alva P. Loiselle Moot Court Competition. He also represented low-income taxpayers in a variety of matters before the Internal Revenue Service as part of the University of Connecticut School of Law Tax Clinic.
Prior to his legal career, Trevor worked for a large international insurer handling latent third-party liability claims and managing complex coverage issues.
