Consistently ranked in The Deal's Bankruptcy League Tables, William Taylor is valued by clients for his extensive experience protecting and advancing their interests in Delaware state and federal courts.

While the majority of Bill’s time is spent in Delaware’s nationally renowned Bankruptcy Court, he also handles matters big and small in Delaware’s Superior and Chancery courts.

When in Bankruptcy Court, Bill represents debtors-in-possession, official committees (unsecured creditors, retiree committees to name a few), liquidating trustees, secured creditors, banks, landlords and the full range of creditors and parties in interest in bankruptcy cases.

Bill has prosecuted and defended thousands of lawsuits, known as “Adversary Actions,” arising out of large corporate bankruptcies. With his experience comes the honor of being on the list of bankruptcy mediators approved by the Bankruptcy Court.

Bill co-authored an article concerning the practice of using “Designation Rights Sales” in bankruptcy matters. This article was published by the American Bankruptcy Institute as the organization’s featured cover article in September 2001. Other articles by Bill include: “Third Circuit Allows Debtor to Ban Credit Bidding at Plan Sale,” “No Proration of Lessors’ Payments In Bankruptcy,” and “Second Circuit OKs Asset Sales Despite Significant Present and Future Liabilities.”

When not at work or home with his family, you will likely find Bill on a golf course either having the game of his life or wishing he were at the office after all (if you are a golfer you understand).
