Ms. Kyler is a partner in the Business Litigation group.  Her practice encompasses a broad range of complex commercial litigation matters in federal and state courts for public and private companies and individuals across all industries, including contract disputes, accounting based arbitrations, redevelopment law, and condemnation/eminent domain proceedings.

Ms. Kyler’s complex commercial litigation experience includes breach of contract matters, breach of the covenant of good faith and fair dealing, interference with contract or business relationships, partnership and shareholder disputes, government contract disputes, consumer fraud and consumer protection issues, actions in lieu of prerogative writs, commercial leasing disputes, and restrictive covenant issues. Ms. Kyler has handled significant matters involving arbitration proceedings before independent accounting firms involving earn-out provisions in asset purchase agreements, food and beverage concession agreements, and transportation and freight shipping agreements.

In her diverse counseling and litigation practice, Ms. Kyler has represented global transportation companies, banks, health care providers, pharmaceutical companies, automobile distributors, digital marketing providers, sports and entertainment arenas, and real estate holding companies.  She served a year-long appointment as in-house counsel for a global pharmaceutical company counseling on regulatory compliance, marketing and promotional materials, equipment leases, medical education agreements and governmental inquiries and subpoenas. She is experienced in all facets of electronic discovery and records management, regularly counseling clients on efficient and economical solutions for  handling document and data productions and complying with the increasing burdens of document and electronic data collection, review, and production. 

In addition to her commercial litigation work, Ms. Kyler has significant experience in eminent domain law.  She has represented commercial property owners and tenants in condemnation proceedings initiated by federal, state and local condemning authorities, including hearings before condemnation commissioners, appeals to the Superior Court, negotiating just compensation awards, and advising displaced businesses with respect to relocation assistance. She also advises developers in connection with property acquisition and valuation issues, redevelopment proceedings, and relocation obligations. 

Ms. Kyler is a graduate of the George Washington University Law School and Princeton University, with an A.B. in Politics and a certificate in the Political Economy Program.
