Mr. Fulford is an intellectual property attorney with experience in patent litigation. He has conducted technical analysis, formulated infringement theories, and drafted pleadings, infringement contentions, discovery requests and responses, and motions in patent cases involving wireless communications devices and network infrastructure, geo-location services, home-entertainment equipment, VOIP-based unified communications and conference call systems, and software anti-piracy technology.

Mr. Fulford has successfully argued on behalf of his clients at several summary judgment, claim construction, and pretrial hearings in federal district courts. He has also conducted dozens of depositions of corporate, technical, and fact witnesses, and he regularly assists infringement, source code, and invalidity experts in analyzing evidence and preparing for depositions and trial.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Fulford practiced at an IP and complex business litigation boutique, where he focused on patent litigation. Mr. Fulford was also previously a law clerk for a regional insurance defense firm and a legal intern for the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority’s trial team. During law school, Mr. Fulford served as Managing Editor of the Suffolk University Law Review and authored two legal articles.

Mr. Fulford is also a trained jazz musician, with over 20 years of playing experience, focusing primarily on drums and percussion. He performs regularly in the Boston area and at venues across New England.
