If Ben Franklin was alive today, he may have revised his famous quote to say – “Nothing is for certain but death, taxes and cyberattacks”. This year has turned out to be a mixed bag of new regulations, refinements of requirements. The continuous adjustments to CMMC, delayed releases of final rules have left most in a state of confusion and complacency. However, in recent months, agencies have set in motion new regulations outside of the CMMC domain including new NIST Standards the industry should be paying attention to. Cyberattacks continue to grow stronger as adversaries and bad actors innovate new ways to penetrate vulnerable systems.
In the AM session of this summit, Kimberly Metzger discusses changes and revised regulations by agencies well as DOD’s continued push for CMMC compliance as FY24 comes into focus. She talks about costs associated and how to combat cyber.
In the PM session, fasten your seatbelts as Alex Major discusses in a roundtable format a potential powder keg of activity in 2024 and an outlook that we believe will get you thinking about your cyber strategy.
