Prescription drug benefit administrator Benecard sued Allied World Specialty Insurance and other insurers in New Jersey federal court on Monday, seeking coverage for a $75 million lawsuit accusing it of improperly managing Medicare Part D plans and causing the plans’ sponsor to sell them at a loss.
