Christian Callegari has been appointed to the Transition Policy Committee for Jersey City Mayor-elect James Solomon, serving on the Intergovernmental Affairs & Communication Committee. In this role, Christian will work to develop actionable policy recommendations focused on both a First 100 Days Plan and a First-Term Action Plan, with an emphasis on clearly defined goals and measurable outcomes for Jersey City residents.
As a member of McCarter’s bipartisan Government Affairs team, Christian advises clients across a range of industries on legislative and regulatory matters, drawing on extensive experience in municipal and state government.
Christian previously served as Deputy Political Director for Mikie Sherrill’s successful gubernatorial campaign and held senior leadership roles in New Jersey municipal government, including Chief of Staff to Mayor Andre Sayegh and acting Director of Economic Development. He has also served as Chief of Staff to New Jersey Assemblyman Gary Schaer (D-Passaic) and in numerous statewide and regional campaigns.
