JUST JERSEY
When you brag about Jersey to people from out of state, you say: We have it all: the four seasons; easy access to the ocean, the country, the mountains and NYC; our bread, pizza and bagels are the best; and, as a bonus, we don’t have to pump our gas.
Sopranos, Jersey Shore or Housewives of NJ: “Homeland,” “24,” “Downton Abbey” and “Veep.”
Yankees, Mets, Jets, Giants: The New Jersey Devils (they’re strictly ours) and the New York Giants.
Favorite place to chow down: Home cooked is my favorite, but I keep going back to Ferraro’s in Westfield and Natale’s Bakery in Summit.
What you wanted to be when you were 6: A nun. I was taught by nuns wearing habits, and “The Flying Nun” was a favorite television show.
ALL YOU
Celebrity you’d like to meet: Kevin Costner.
Historical figure you’d want to meet: The drafters of the U.S. Constitution while they debated at the Constitutional Convention (Alexander Hamilton, Benjamin Franklin, George Washington, James Madison and others).

Something about you that your co-workers don’t know: My nickname is “Vera.”
