Michael Gnibus has joined McCarter & English’s Stamford office as a Partner in the firm’s Intellectual Property practice along with Catherine Winter, Nicholas Caiafa and Sean Varley.
Michael spoke with Law360 Pulse and said that before making the decision to join the firm, he assessed the firm’s expertise and the firm’s culture. “It was easy to see the firm’s deep and diverse substantive experience and the rich culture at McCarter that inspires the team to be outwardly facing, collegial and impactful in all they do for each other and the firm’s clients,” Michael said. “Those two firm attributes align perfectly with my approach to the practice of law, making it a great fit.”
McCarter & English Managing Partner Joe Boccassini also spoke with the publication and said, “We are thrilled that Michael and his team chose to join McCarter. He’s a great fit with the firm’s strong IP group, and his in-house experience is so valuable to understanding what our clients struggle with and how we can best solve their problems. Above and beyond all of that, he’s just a great person to work with.”
Jonathan Sparks, Chair of McCarter’s Intellectual Property practice added, “Michael’s significant in-house experience gives him the inside track on what clients need. He understands their pain points and speaks their language,” he said. “That makes him an ideal adviser for our clients and a valuable addition to McCarter’s IP practice.”
