As federal investigations continue to grow more complex, understanding how they work has become increasingly important.
McCarter partner and former US Attorney for the Southern District of Indiana Zachary Myers teaches a course at Indiana University Maurer School of Law in the 2026 Winter Session. The course, “Criminal Law Practice: Federal Investigations & Pre-Trial Proceedings,” provides the basis for students to understand federal criminal practice and procedures from the vantage point of the prosecutors, defense counsel, and the bench.
The course focuses on federal criminal practice from investigation up to discovery and trial, utilizing real-world examples from cases.
