The McCarter & English Social Justice Project invited guests to a thought-provoking conversation with Anthony Ray Hinton, who shared his remarkable story of justice, redemption, and hope. Like so many of the people whose stories are memorialized in lawyer Bryan Stevenson’s book Just Mercy, and so many other people whose stories were never captured, Mr. Hinton would have been executed for crimes he did not commit but for the efforts of dedicated, tenacious, legal counsel.
