Zachary Myers, the former United States Attorney for the Southern District of Indiana, has officially joined McCarter & English’s Indianapolis office as a partner in the Business Litigation group. He will also serve as a co-leader of the firm’s multidisciplinary Cybersecurity & Data Privacy team. Zach brings extensive experience in high-stakes litigation and cybersecurity. As part of his practice, he will counsel clients in navigating federal government issues, including congressional inquiries and regulatory matters.
During his tenure as US Attorney, Zach oversaw an office comprising 55 attorneys and 50 support personnel across four locations in Indiana. While at the Department of Justice, he was instrumental in leading investigations and prosecutions related to cyber and technology-facilitated crimes. He also served as chair of the Attorney General Advisory Committee’s Cyber and Intellectual Property Subcommittee, where he engaged with various divisions of the DOJ, including the National Security Division and the Computer Crime and Intellectual Property Section.
“My passion has always been building—whether it’s building cases, building teams, or building relationships,” Zack said. “I look forward to contributing to the growth of the firm’s Indianapolis office, its broader Midwest presence, and to helping to lead its growing Cybersecurity & Data Privacy team.”
