Philip Lee introduces students to what Artificial Intelligence is understood to mean and how it has been defined in the Federal Government. He examines the history of Artificial Intelligence and guidance the Federal Government has issued for its adoption, leading up to current policies and guidance this Administration has issued to accelerate AI development and implementation, including the White House’s America’s AI Action Plan and OMB Memorandums M-25-21 and M-25-22 to accelerate and drive federal AI acquisition and use.
