This is session 1 of 4 in the Introduction to Government Contracts webinar series.
In this session, Cara Wulf and Philp Lee introduce students to the specialized contracting procedures that apply to contracts with the U.S. Government. They examine the uniform contract format and discuss the purpose of each section, as well as identify the sections that are most likely to give rise to disputes. They also introduce students to the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and its agency-specific counterparts, with particular focus on the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS).
