Cara Wulf introduces students to the specialized contracting procedures that apply to contracts with the U.S. Government. She examines the uniform contract format and discusses the purpose of each section, as well as identifies the sections that are most likely to give rise to disputes. She also introduces students to the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and its agency-specific counterparts, with particular focus on the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS). She also forecasts the changes to come in the Revolutionary FAR Overhaul (RFO) and the Department of Defense Acquisition Transformation Strategy.
