McCarter & English partner Jeff Testa has been appointed by the US Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware as Chapter 11 Trustee to operate Flipcause, Inc. a national fundraising technology company that filed for Chapter 11 protection in December 2025.
As recently profiled by Law360, Jeff brings extensive experience serving as a Chapter 11 and Chapter 7 trustee, as well as his representation of trustees, in complex, high-profile matters. His prior appointments include serving as Chapter 7 Trustee in the bankruptcy of the company behind Triple Crown-winning racehorse American Pharoah, as well as lead counsel to the Chapter 11 trustee in the Solomon Dwek bankruptcy proceeding.
Jeff’s appointment follows concerns raised by the California Attorney General regarding alleged mismanagement at Flipcause, Inc. which reported approximately $30.5 million in liabilities.
