Law360 Names McCarter a ‘Ceiling Smasher‘ for Representation of Women in Equity Partnership

McCarter is named by Law360 as a ‘Ceiling Smasher,’ for the second year in a row recognizing the firm as one of the top 10 in its category (251-600 lawyers) with the highest representation of women in its equity partnership. According to Law360 Pulse’s 2024 Women in Law Report, approximately 41% of all lawyers in the profession are women, but just over a quarter of equity partners are women. Law360 notes that, “Despite the broader industry challenges, the firms that made it onto Law360 Pulse’s Ceiling Smashers list are demonstrating that strides towards gender parity in the upper ranks are possible.”
