McCarter & English LLP has expanded its intellectual property practice group in Boston with the addition of a former McDermott Will & Emery LLP partner, according to the firm.
Leigh Martinson, who has 18 years of experience in patent law, joined McCarter & English in April as a partner, the firm said in a statement last month.
“Having worked with Leigh in the past, I am thrilled he has joined McCarter’s team of tech lawyers,” Elizabeth Hanley, leader of the practice group, said in a statement. “Besides trial and appellate experience, Leigh gives our clients excellent representation from patent prosecution and deal diligence to helping clients monetize their intellectual property portfolios.”
