McCarter expands its Government Affairs Practice with lobbyist Regina Appolon, a former New Jersey Assembly staff member and Chief of Staff for then-Assembly member Angela McKnight.
Regina told Law360 Pulse that she was already familiar with the group’s work in state government and was drawn to the team’s reputation and the scope of its work. “The opportunity to join a firm that combines both legal insight with government affairs was really appealing to me,” she said.
Regina added that she’s looking forward to applying the skills she’s gained in building relationships to support the firm’s clients. “Those relationships that I made in my first year working in the general assembly I still have to this day, and I’m able to use the relationships that I made not just in the legislature but also in the front office in and around the state of New Jersey to help better serve our clients,” Appolon said.
Guillermo Artiles, chair of the Government Affairs Practice, expressed his excitement about Regina joining the team. “She is well-known in Trenton and beyond, and her strong reputation and experience in state government make her an invaluable resource to our clients who seek strategic advice and insight,” Artiles said.
